Experience our new Chef and his great cooking
Two months ago Head Chef, David Jones, joined us at Goldstone and now with his brigade prepped and stationed at their stoves we are ready to unveil him.
David Jones is a well-seasoned talented Chef who left Shropshire for the bright lights of London as a 17 year old to “assist” the mighty Nico Ladenis earn his third Michelin star. Nico may not have needed this youthful exuberance to achieve his accolades but it whetted David’s appetite to learn his craft and develop his cooking skills. Twenty years on he has returned to Shropshire to settle and raise his family. His experience and cooking knowledge is exceptional, he is a great guy to work with, always with a smile and foremost his dishes are tasty, generous, attractive and a delight to eat.
Through March we are offering you the chance to be in the first to trial his cooking with a special “three course” Dinner for £36 Tuesday to Friday evenings. What? Three courses at Goldstone? Of course here this means more with fresh baked bread, homemade pre dinner drink snacks, David’s daily appetiser and lovely Goldstone service.

The menu will continually change so one trial will not be enough.
Dinner at Goldstone is served Monday to Sunday 6.30 pm- 9.00pm (until 8.30pm on Sunday).
DAVIDS36 is available Tuesday to Friday 6.30 pm - 9.00pm.
