Current Vacancy

Chef de Partie

This is a position for a chef who wishes to be a key part of a professional team and is passionate about food and cooking.

The hotel has won many awards and received praise from the toughest of critics and held 2 AA Rosettes for years. We are situated 5 miles north of Newport, Shropshire and within travelling distance of Stoke, Stafford, Telford and Shrewsbury.

Candidate should be trained with previous experience in quality kitchens and be passionate about great food. Pastry experience an advantage

Selected candidates will be required for interview and for a cooking trial for which you will be paid and given travel expenses. The job will start once full notice from your current employer has occurred.

Front of House Team Members

Goldstone Hall is a well-established small hotel and restaurant in a wonderful rural setting in Shropshire.  Family run for over 30 years, it operates at an AA Red Star standard with Good Food Guide listing, Michelin recognition and a great local reputation.

The ethos of Goldstone is based around top notch quality and local produce.  Our restaurant has one of the UK’s largest and most productive kitchen gardens.

We wish to recruit a talented, service-orientated person who has great table service at their heart.  You will have a natural talent for sharing your skills with the team and be driven by delivering great hospitality.

You will be joining a very level-headed business that is driving change and raising standards. The team is ambitious and is more than capable of achieving greater national recognition.   These are interesting and challenging times and it will be a great time to be at Goldstone.

We work with the UK large independent Wine Merchant of the year, Joseph Perrier Champagne and a Master of Wine for our wine training and development.  We have a highly proactive view on staff and team development.

This position will be hard work but the rewards will be achieving considerable national and peer group recognition and the pay will not be too bad either.
